We just returned from the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM) Show in Orlando. We had the opportunity to meet with industry leaders and learn all about new trends. Here are our top three takeaways:

Companies are competing to be the best

What impressed me most was the number of companies still striving to be the best in our industry,” said United Foodservice Solutions’ President Aaron Hubbard.

Henny Penny is launching their latest fryer (The F5) in March. We are excited to see what a touch-screen fryer with improved filtration speed and re-engineered layout will offer our current and future customers.”

Automation is trending

“The trends continue to swing towards touch-screens, self-filtration, self-cleaning, and wireless tracking,” said Hubbard.

“More tech is being utilized in our industry than ever before, and it is only going to improve as time goes on.”

Collaboration is key

“We met with Henny PennyCarpigiani North America, and numerous other companies to discuss how we can assist each other in growing equipment sales and service in our territory,” said Hubbard.

“The most important takeaway for me was that it appears we are getting back to a pre-covid way of business. Our industry is growing at a fast pace and doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.”

It was a pleasure seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new people, and learning all about industry trends, and best practices! Were you at the NAFEM Show? If so, what was your favorite part?
