Before working at United Foodservice Solutions, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
“Working as a Pro Shop Assistant at a golf course in Perth, Western Australia.”
How did you first learn about United Foodservice Solutions?
“I was born and raised in Grand Ledge, Michigan. I first learned about the business when they relocated to their current location on Spring Street.”
How do you balance your career and family?
“I just take it one day at a time. I have two young children so something new comes up everyday. The company president (Aaron) and my manager (Bob) provide me with the flexibility to be successful in my new position and tend to my family. I just try to always be available whether it is work or family related. I am happy to be busy!”
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
“I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I am an avid golfer. I really enjoy getting away and going on golf trips in northern Michigan with my friends!”
How has United Foodservice Solutions helped you in your career development?
“They provide me with opportunities and resources to be successful. I am new to sales and constantly learning about the profession. I just try to soak up all the information given to me and apply it moving forward. United Foodservice Solutions has been tremendous in helping me transition into this new role.”

What does a typical day look like for you?
“My typical day thus far consists of learning about the products, learning the different software we use, and meeting new people in the foodservice industry. I have just begun reaching out to customers to assist them with any questions they have and provide them with quotes for equipment.”
What are your hopes for the industry?
“I want our customers to succeed with all of their business endeavors. My goal is to provide them with the best service I am able. I want to build long lasting relationships with our customers and see their business grow and succeed. That is my biggest hope for my industry.”
