Have you ever wondered what the future of the foodservice industry will look like? We were able to catch a glimpse while attending the 2022 National Restaurant Association Show, and it was exciting. We just got back to Michigan and have identified three reasons why we think the show was a success.
Networking
The NRA Show brings attendees, exhibitors, guest speakers, chefs, mixologists and more, all together, under one roof. We had the opportunity to see familiar faces and make new connections.
“The single most important aspect of this event had to be the networking avenues available,” said Sales Representative and Equipment Start-Up Coordinator Jimmy Lyons. “There are so many companies, business owners, equipment manufacturers, foodservice purveyors, and distributors at NRA that we were able to network with.”
Motivation
Watching cutting-edge technology demonstrations, listening to expert-led education sessions, and spending time with the Henny Penny team, was extremely inspiring.
“It’s a very motivating event. The energy inside the McCormick Place was pretty incredible,” said Lyons. “You could feel the electricity in just the Henny Penny booth alone. It was everywhere.”
We were also eager to share some news with our team. We received Henny Penny’s awards for Top Service DPE Score for North America, and Marketing Excellence in North America.
Fun
The NRA Show was canceled during the height of the pandemic. Experiencing the event in-person this year was extra special.
“It was a fun experience,” said Lyons. Was it work? Yes, but it’s Chicago, it’s UFS, and I’m grateful my spouse Melissa and I were able to attend with our great team. What more can you ask for?”
Did you attend the NRA Show this year? If so, we would love to know what your key takeaways are.
